Pineapple Upside Down Cake
METHOD OF PREPARATION
For Pineapple Cake Batter:
- Preheat oven at 170° C.
- Arrange an 8” cake ring the base covered with silver foil.
- In a sauce pan take sugar and water heat on slow flame stirring continuously till it gets to a boil.
- Continue to cook till it is golden caramel in colour.
- Remove from the flame and pour the hot sugar in prepared baking pan and leave it to cool.
- Arrange thin pineapple Slices and red cherry on top of the caramel Cover the entire bottom and keep it aside.
For Pineapple Cake Batter:
- Take all ingredientsin amixing bowl andmixwith flat blade for 1min. on slowspeed and then on medium speed for 3 min.
- Pour the pineapple cake batter in a well-greased baking pan and bake 170° C in a water bath. Bake for 45 min.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
- Cool the cake properly and flip it, remove silver foil and arrange on a serving plate.
